1. How does udhar work on a bill?
Credit is part of billing, not a separate notebook. This is what happens at each step:

What is billing software with udhar?
Billing software with udhar records a sale on credit against a named customer, tracks what they owe, and lets you collect it later. Distiqo AI's Retailer OS does this at the counter: pick Credit while billing, and the amount posts to that customer's khata.
Can I sell on udhar to a walk-in customer?
No, and that is deliberate. A credit sale needs a named customer, so nothing sits against an anonymous walk-in that you cannot collect from later.
Can a customer pay part of the amount now?
Yes. Part-payments and advances post against the customer, and the balance stays on their khata until it is cleared.
How do udhar reminders work?
Credit is aged by how long it has been due. For any customer you tap once to send a WhatsApp reminder from your own number, with your UPI ID in the message so they can pay straight away. Reminders are sent when you tap; they are not scheduled automatically.
How is this different from a khata notebook?
A notebook records what you wrote down. Retailer OS links every credit sale to the bill, the stock that left the shelf and the books, so the khata balance always matches the sales behind it, and ageing shows who to call first.
Does it also do GST billing and stock?
